The 37’s lines are characterized by an almost flat sheer, low profile cabin top that slopes gently forward and arthwartship, short bow and stern overhangs and a reverse transom.

The Sun Odyssey 37 is designed by Jacques Faroux and utilizes the numerous innovations that made the Sun Odyssey 40 such a success. Celestial is a two cabin model with the layout arranged around a salon with L-shaped galley. There is a traditional chart table to port. There is a large head with shower. Aft starboard one will find a comfortable aft cabin. The owner's cabin is located forward.

The smooth lines incorporated in the deck layout show the latest in modern design approach: positioning the helmsman on the cockpit coamings for better visibility. The boat has good stability due to increased ballast. The in mast furling main and furling jib make for easy sailing in all conditions.
